March 22 is World Water Day
On this day we celebrate water and raise awareness of the 2 billion people living without access to safe water. The theme of this year’s World Water Day is groundwater. Groundwater is invisible, but its impact is visible everywhere. Our drinking water and sanitation, our food supply and natural environment – all these rely on groundwater.
