Congrats to our client, Candleworks by ACLD, on their newly launched website designed by PMG! Located on Long Island, New York, Candleworks was created in 2022 by not-for-profit agency Adults and Children with Learning and Developmental Disabilities, Inc. (ACLD). As an extension of ACLD’s mission to provide opportunities for individuals with learning and developmental disabilities to pursue enviable lives, promote independence and foster supportive relationships within the community, Candleworks provides opportunities for employment for these individuals.
Candleworks’ mission is simple – We hope to enrich the lives of adults with learning and developmental disabilities by connecting them with fulfilling careers creating hand-crafted scented candles whose beauty and origin will inspire you.
Each candle is hand poured with love into glass jars by people with autism and other developmental disabilities.
Within the first two weeks of the website launch, Candleworks sold over 200 candles and continues to receive orders daily. Be sure to head on over to their website and check out the limited-edition seasonal scents, as well as their year-round candles – you can feel good knowing that your order is positively impacting the lives of their employees.
