A Day of Fun at Splish Splash Sponsored by Jovia Financial Credit Union

On August 16, 2022, PMG helped to coordinate a day of fun with Jovia Financial Credit Union for 100 children, their parents and their caregivers at Splish Splash Water Park in Riverhead, NY. The families received free admission from Splish Splash along with food and drink vouchers donated by Jovia Financial Credit Union.

Splish Splash and Jovia partnered with two local not-for-profit children’s organizations: KiDS NEED MORE (Motivational Recovery Environments, Inc.), a charitable organization dedicated to enhancing the lives of children, families and young adults coping with life-threatening illness and trauma, and La de Justicia Foundation, an organization which provides educational and support services to underserved youth and their families to develop strong, educated, and visionary communities in Suffolk County.

Progressive Marketing Group Vice President Gary Cucchi commented, “It was amazing to see Jovia and Splish Splash team up to provide a memorable day for these campers at the water park. A big thank you to the volunteer team at Jovia for coming out to support the program and organize the day for the youngsters. Danielle Trombetta of Splish Splash went out of her way to make all the campers feel comfortable and enjoy a beautiful day in the park. Chaka Adams, Rich Tavarez and Ray Schwetz from Jovia went above and beyond to make sure all the kids were having an excellent.”

Along with the food and refreshment vouchers, Jovia provided each attendee with a string backpack and Jovia water bottle. As part of Jovia’s efforts to help build up and support financially literate communities and future generations, the credit union will be providing a financial education day held in the Fall for each organization and the families they support. Ongoing financial literacy workshops are being planned on topics such as earning, saving, spending, borrowing, and the importance of protecting financial information and assets.
