What a way to spend a beautiful Friday evening – enjoying the smells and tastes of Sparkling Pointe Vineyards and Winery’s finest effervescent sparkling wines while supporting ACLD! The ‘Uncorked for ACLD’ wine tasting virtual event was held on August 7th with guests enjoying some of the vineyard’s most popular brands from the comfort of their homes and even their boats 🙂 

The event was emceed by Long Island Business News Group Publisher Ali Jabbour. Sparkling Pointe Vineyards and Winery General Manager Michael Falcetta walked the audience through the vineyard’s process of making sparkling wines, what to look for in taste and how to enjoy wine with friends and family. Guests who purchased tickets were sent the wine in advance of the event to enjoy during the live wine tasting. With trivia questions, ACLD swag for giveaways and a Q&A portion, Uncorked was an engaging way to spend an evening while learning about sparkling wines.

The event was hosted by the ACLD Foundation which raises funds for the exclusive benefit of ACLD. ACLD provides an enviable life for children and adults with developmental disabilities across Long Island through a variety of programs and services.
